The Festival that was to be held from March 6 to 8, 2020 is cancelled by the authorities to avoid the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
The 24 th edition of the Venetian Carnival of Annecy
Just after the Venice Carnival, the Venetian Carnival in Annecy takes over. You can admire the sublime costumes designed and created by the masks.
More than 500 participants are expected to stroll through the streets of Little Venice of the Alps and along the shores of Lake Annecy.
As every year, the ARIA association (Association Rencontre Annecy Italie) organizes the most beautiful and largest Venetian carnival in France since 1996.
The amateur or professional photographers will be once again at the appointment.
The places of the show
The forum of Bonlieu for the night show is located: 1 rue Jean Jaurès in Annecy.
The walk of the masks takes place in three places: the Pâquier lawn on the edge of the lake of Annecy, the Old City of Annecy and the Gardens of Europe, natural park located behind the City Hall of Annecy.
The schedules
The show will take place from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 March 2020.
You can meet the masks at the following times:
- Friday, March 6 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm : night stroll the masks inside the building Bonlieu forum and in the city if the weather is favorable.
- Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 The masks are walked between the two floors 10 hours and 18 hours.
Starting at 14 hours, the masks will parade on a podium in the Gardens of Europe behind the town hall of Annecy. Musical entertainment will accompany this show.
Sunday, March 8 at 1:45 pm:the Vocal Formation & Lyrique of Delphine Degoud da Pontello will be in opening of the presentation of the masks in the Gardens of Europe.

This event is free, it attracts a large public:
